At Rastoder Ltd., we believe that social responsibility and supporting local communities are key pillars of our operations. We are proud that our financial donation has significantly contributed to the implementation of an essential infrastructure project – the asphalt paving of the road network in the municipality of Petnjica, Montenegro. A well-regulated transport infrastructure is the foundation for a higher quality of life for residents and one of the key factors for stronger agricultural and economic development in the region.
Transparent allocation of funds and direct assistance to the people
To ensure the greatest possible impact and holistic support for the region, the donated funds were allocated between infrastructure projects and social programs, in agreement with the local community:
- Modernization of road Infrastructure: funds amounting to €25,000 were fully and strictly utilized for the modernization and asphalt paving project of the Crvenjača–Kruščica road section, covering a total length of 2.4 kilometers.
- Social welfare and support for vulnerable groups: funds for social protection in the amount of €15,000 were transparently spent on direct aid for socially vulnerable categories of the population. This assistance was provided in the form of financial aid and material support for the adaptation, extension, or furnishing of residential buildings for those who need it most.
To achieve these noble goals, in addition to the donation from Rastoder d.o.o., funds from the budget of the Municipality of Petnjica were utilized, along with contributions from other donors, among whom the diaspora plays an invaluable role.
Synergy and collective steps for a better future
The entire road modernization project is characterized by strong cooperation and synergy. The Municipality of Petnjica successfully continues to improve its road network with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Montenegro, local residents, and a large diaspora, of which Rastoder d.o.o. is a proud member.
The importance of this and future projects was discussed on Radio Television Rožaje by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, Mr. Vladimir Joković, and the Mayor of Petnjica, Mr. Samir Agović. Both emphasized that such investments are crucial for the preservation and development of rural areas. Local resident Mr. Zaim Ličina from the village of Kruščica and local farmer Mr. Mehmed Ajdarpašić also expressed their personal gratitude to all the donors on the ground.

The special significance and success of the project is further confirmed by an official letter of thanks prepared by the residents of the village of Kruščica upon completion of the works. In it, they expressed their deepest gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture, led by minister Mr. Vladimir Joković, the Municipality of Petnjica, and the donor Mr. Izet Rastoder for their selfless support, understanding of the locals’ needs, and key contribution to the successful completion of the project. The sincere gratitude of the residents was also extended to all other donors and participants who assisted in its realization in any way.
