We are proud to have contributed to a significant infrastructure project—the paving of the road network in the municipality of Petnjica in Montenegro—through a financial donation. Well-maintained transport infrastructure is the foundation for a higher quality of life for residents and a key driver for the stronger development of agriculture and the economy in the region.
Synergy and collective steps for a better future
The road modernization project, covering a total length of 2.5 kilometers, is an excellent example of synergy and collaboration. The Municipality of Petnjica is successfully continuing the improvement of the road network with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of Montenegro, local residents, and the numerous diaspora, of which Rastoder Ltd. is a proud member.
Speaking to Radio Television Rožaje about the importance of this and future projects were the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, Mr.Vladimir Joković, and the President of the Municipality of Petnjica, Mr.Samir Agović. Both emphasized that such investments are crucial for the preservation and development of rural areas. Personal gratitude to all donors was also expressed on the ground by Mr.Zaim Ličina, a resident of the village of Kruščica, and Mr.Mehmed Ajdarpašić, a local farmer.

The special significance and success of the project are further highlighted by an official letter of gratitude prepared by the residents of the village of Kruščica upon the completion of the works. In the letter, they expressed deep gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture, led by Minister Vladimir Joković, the Municipality of Petnjica, and the donor Mr.Izet Rastoder for their selfless support, understanding of the locals’ needs, and significant contribution to the successful completion of the project. Sincere thanks from the residents were also extended to all other donors and participants who helped bring the works to a successful close in any way.
According to the residents, the modernization of the road carries multifaceted and long-term importance for the entire area.
