At Rastoder d.o.o., we view social responsibility as an inseparable part of our business operations. Our roots are deeply embedded in the environments where we operate, as we firmly believe that a company’s success grows hand in hand with the community. In line with these values, we supported the international children’s football tournament organized by NK Jesenice this May by donating Derby® brand bananas.
The event attracted approximately 85 teams from Slovenia and Austria, bringing together more than 850 children and 90 coaches. Supporting such a large-scale sporting event allows us to directly implement our sustainability strategy, which is built on two key pillars:
- Active community: we proudly support sports and culture, thereby nurturing the social fabric.
- Humanitarianism: we support organizations dedicated to helping children, fire departments, and local educational institutions.
We are well aware that young athletes are the ones who will shape our society in the future, which is why fostering their development is one of our top priorities.

We sincerely congratulate all participants for their demonstrated sportsmanship and fighting spirit, with a special mention to the tournament winners who reached the top of the podium. At the same time, we would like to thank the organizers from NK Jesenice for the excellent and professional execution of the entire event, which provided young footballers with an unforgettable sporting experience.
